This center was created as a center of excellence and today is participating in a major clinical study with Dana Farber Cancer Institute

to Participate in National Clinical Trial
Urology Associates of South Texas (UAST) has been invited to participate in a national
clinical trial sponsored by the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston,
MA. This randomized clinical trial will investigate advanced strategies
in treating high risk early stage prostate cancer patients with IGRT (Image
Guided Radiation Therapy), androgen suppression therapy, and chemotherapy.
